About Us

The Grays Harbor Transportation Authority is a County Transportation Authority (CTA), authorized under RCW 36.57. GHT’s service area is located in the western part of Washington State reaching from the Pacific Ocean to the Olympic National Forest in the north and Olympia in the east. The Grays Harbor Transportation Authority began providing transportation services in June of 1975.

The Grays Harbor Transit Board of Directors currently consists of the three Grays Harbor County Commissioners, the Mayor of the most populous city in the county, the Mayor of a city with population more than 5,000, and the Mayor of a city with population less than 5,000. The Mayor representation will be reviewed every two years (even numbered years). The Board of Directors holds public meetings the second Tuesday of each month at the Grays Harbor Transportation Authority’s Administrative Offices. Harbor Place Building in Aberdeen at 343 W. Wishkah (upstairs with elevator access).
